No Time For Fig Leaves

BERUANG NI,LARI DARI CENGKAMAN JEPUN DAN SEKARANG NI MENETAP DI WARSAW.SEBABKAN PENAT BERLARI,TERDUDUK DIA.

I like the title..tatau pasal apa.Either I suka the word 'Fig' or 'Leaves'.Tapi itulah yang I came across bila balik kerja hari ni.Pokok yang dah takde daun.Autumn is here ke? Cepatnya.Patutlah rasa lain aje.Semalaman I rasa nak demam-demam.Malam tadik,I tidur bergulung pasal sejuk tapi badan punya temperature cam Cintaku Hanyut Dilautan Api,lebih tinggi dari room temperature.Lemah betul badan I.I suspect current weather lah punya angkara ni.Kejap hujan, kejap panas.Aduhaiiii...

Anyway, syukur I selamat sampai rumah walaupon tulang dalam badan rasa nak roboh.Hari ni tadi kat tempat kerja, tak puas-puas I dok cakap dengan my clients yang hari ni is Malaysia National Day.Buat history lessonlah kejap hari ni,dalam demam-demam.I dok ceritalah yang Malaysia ni dulu pernah dijajah British.I'm not sure if the word 'Jajah' is appropriate.Pasalnya, bila dipikir balik, kita kena kapom (hehehe) dengan Jepun.Kununnya,Asia untuk orang Asia.Tapi bila dah masuk Tanah Melayu, habis dicabulnya hak asasi Datuk Nenek kita.Pastu dipaksanya orang-orang kita jadik hamba..yang jantan jadik hamba buat landasan keretapi, yang pompuan, jadik hamba seksual gitu.Haram jadah nya Jepun!!!

So,British Army didatangkan khas oleh Alfred Dunhill Of London (chewwwah) untuk menolong orang-orang Tanah Melayu yang dalam kesusahan masa tu.And in the end, supported all of us throughout getting the Independence. So,ada jugak jasa British kat kita walaupon tak banyak, and walaupon ada suara-suara sumbang mahram yang kata tak suka penjajah.Kalaulah the penjajah tak bomb Hiroshima, tak berganjak kot Mat Mat Jepang Celaka ni.Rasaiinnn ko, Jepun.

Tidak ada salah cela nya meng acknowleged British input. All ideas (yang bagus lah, yang samdol itu ditinggalkan takpe) Keterbukaan Fikiran.Itu patut diikut.Semua orang boleh berfikir dengan sendirinya.Semalam I baca lagi kisah ada mamat yang converted to Islam tapi sekarang ni nak masuk Kristian balik. He also said that, dia masuk Islam pon pasai nak kawin dgn pompuan melayu and he has never follow the Islamic policy and procedure.I kadang2 pikir, kenapa kita kena paksa orang masuk Islam? Bila orang Melayu kahwin Cina ke Orangputih, takde pulak dia suruh kita tukar agama? Ni semua undang2 negara yang tak tahulah boleh benefit siapa.Even negara Islam kat tempat lain, tak pulak require marriage can only be performed of two individual of a same religion.

I rasa pasal paksaan beginilah yang membuat ramai orang tak pueh hati.My Non-Muslim friends selalu joke dgn I yang depaorang nak masuk Islam pasal nak kahwin 4.Depan, I gelak aje, dalam hati malu.Orang Islam famous pasal tu aje ke?

Okaylah, berbalik semula kepada topic.I suka benar baca this story from Mat Salleh confused ni.Ada similarity dengan my own life.Bacalah...

I was once called a philistine for my ostensible lack of interest for theatrics and play. The thing is, it's not that I don't enjoy going on a fun-filled evening spent rubbing shoulders with culturally-sophisticated folks; the lack of enthusiasm for musicals is in most part driven by the lack of moolah. That is in itself an interesting study on opportunity cost. For instance, going for the Blue Man Group would cost me at least 20 pounds. That means I would have to sacrifice 6 trips to the movie theater (assuming I get a two-tickets-for-the-price-of-one deal, I pay £2.90/movie) and two large Doritos. I love my movies and Doritos too much to want to part with 20 quid.

I wouldn't mind spending on plays and musicals as long as the price doesn't cross the psychological barrier of 10 quid. That was why I went for the LSE Malaysian Society's rendition of No Time for Fig Leaves. The 5 pounds spent was totally worth it. I love the premise of the play (two men found alive in a post-nuclear-disaster-which-killed-all-men-but-spared-the-women world) and the cast was amazing; the acting was so good that it was Oscar-worthy! I like the fact that the whole thing was done live and that there could have been potentially disastrous scew-ups; it really shows the effort put into making the play go without a hitch.

Really, it wasn't a bad start for what was my first play outing. Now, if only I could find a way to finance my latent liking for theatrics and play. Anonymous monetary bestowment is encouraged.

SELAMAT MENYAMBUT HARI KEMERDEKAAN

Huh...kann??? yang undang British masuk ke tanah melayu pun sapa?? Melayu jugak! yang bagi Sarawak kat omputih tuh sapa?? Melayu jugak! Aiyyooo Melayu ni kan memang mudah lupa tul tak? **matilaa mahathir!

Rasanya kalau British tak bertapak (or any of the foreigners) kat Malaya, mak rasa sampai skang kita guna jawi dan 96% of population would be Malay.Ehh apa motiff mak cakap cenggini ni??? mak pun fenin...

Anyway, pasai tukar agama tu mak sukar nak memahaminya sbb kat Indonesia yg majoritas Islam dibenarkan pulak kawin tanpa tukau agama....

Mak pun dah fenin... Kepalaku hanyut di lautan Panadol....
